03/18/2008 WAITING TO START SLAYDE'S BIRTHDAY!

Mammy decided we would take pictures of ourselves as we wait for Klayton to get home so we can open up Slayde's presents and cards!!! Slayde looks good but Mammy and Jaksyn are missing most of their faces!!!

I'm getting better! I need more PRACTISE!!!

I got most of our faces but NO ONE is saying, "CHEESE"!

Well, Jaksyn and Mammy got the word to say, "CHEESE" but Slayde must not of heard! I guess I need more practise STILL!!!

03/18/2008 HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY, SLAYDE!

Slayde is opening his first card and present! He had to wait until after Kindergarten (at noon) before he could open his presents! Klayton gets up too early for school and Shelle goes to work at 4:00 am, so they decided that his birthday present opening would be at noon! Shelle did take store bought cup cakes to school to his class for his 6th birthday! Now the schools won't let you bring homemade items to school to eat! I use to bake cup cakes with a penny, nickel, dime or quarter in the bottom of the cup cake. Of course, the money was wrapped in tin foil and I would always tell the students to be careful when eating the cup cakes. It was always fun to see who got the quarter because they were the big winner. I think all my children would remember me doing this for them, Shelle wanted to do it for Slayde, but when she called the school to make sure she could, they said, "NO"! So Shelle, covered nickels, dimes and quarters and taped them to the bottom of the store bought cup cakes!!! Slayde's class thought that it was neat and that is all that matters! HAPPY "6TH" BIRTHDAY!!!

03/18/2008 READING CARDS & OPENING PRESENTS!

Slayde loved reading his cards! His most favorite card was from his Stodd cousins! What made it so special is that each one of the family wrote him a note and he loved reading it! THANKS, STODDS!!!

Jaksyn was assigned the duties of getting him his cards and presents! Evidently, as you can see, SHE FAILED!!! Ha! Ha!

One of the presents Slayde really liked was a book about the Human Anatomy! The POP OUT pictures are really awesome! HMMMMMMMMMM, do we have a DOCTOR in the future?

03/18/2008 CLOTHES FROM HIS FAMILY!

Slayde opening his "HOODY" that his familygave him! It is really cool!

A picture of all the clothes his Mom, Dad and Sister gave him for his birthday! Klayton especially liked the "Plaid" shorts and Shellie liked the Hoody that she picked out!!! He is the best dressed kindergartener besides being the most handsome and smartest!!! Of course, his Mammy isn't prejudice! Ha! Ha!

03/18/2008 JAKSYN'S BORED!

Jaksyn was totally not interested in Slayde's "HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY" any more! She would rather play with the balloon she got yesterday for St. Patrick's Day! What a HOOT!!!

03/18/208 FROM MAMMY & BOMPA!

Mammy and Bompa always buys clothes! Not Slayde's favorite presents to open!

But Mammy knows when he goes to school looking COOL, he will like his clothes!!! HAPPY "6TH" BIRTHDAY, SLAYDE!

03/18/2008 A PRESENT FOR JAKSYN!

After watching Slayde open ALL his presents, she was pretty bored with the whole thing, until her Mom told her to get the HOT PINK sack up on the mantle of the fire place. She grabbed the sack and pulled the tissue paper out, then looked in!

Yea! it's a.....a.....a....! She was excited anyway!!!

03/18/2008 A TWO PIECE FOR JAKS!

Jaksyn couldn't figure out what it was at first?

Then we all told her it was a two piece swimsuit!

She said,"Oh! I like it, especially because it is PINK!!!"

Jaksyn tried on the two piece that Mammy and Bompa bought her! As you can tell, SHE LIKED IT!

I told her to put her hands on her hips!!! Cute, huh!!!

03/18/2008 SLAYDE'S BIRTHDAY PRESENTS!

This is what Slayde received for his birthday! He is 6 years old!!!

Opps! He didn't received the girl's two piece swim suit! Jaksyn demanded that her present be taken with his stuff!!! She is so funny!

03/17/2008 ST PATRICK'S DAY!

Mammy picked Slayde up from Kindergarten and took Slayde and Jaksyn to McDonald's for lunch! They love to go and play on all the play things and with the other children. They make friends easily! Slayde's shirt says,"TRUST ME, I'M IRISH"! Before we left, I had them pose on Ronald McDonald and you can see how excited Slayde was!!! He reminds me a lot of Ryan when Ryan didn't want to pose for pictures!!! He's a good sport, anyway!!!

They were yelling "YEA!", this is the last picture at McDonalds!!!

03/16/2008 TWO PERMANENT TEETH GROWING IN!!!

Slayde has lost the two front bottom teeth and both new permanent teeth are growing back in! I love it when they are losing their teeth. They look so awesome!!!

03/16/2008 BATH TIME!

It has been some time since Jaks has come up to me (Mammy) and asked to take a BATH! She usually showers with her Mom every day and so I quit giving her baths. But this special day, she came up to me and asked if she could take a bath. So I had her get out all the toys and put them into the bath tub as the water was running in! The first toy she put in was her "Ariel" doll!
